Annual Conference Mission Collection

Each year, United Methodist of Michigan take a financial offering to send for ministries in Liberia and Haiti.  These two countries have close mission connections with Michigan.

 

Haiti Hot Lunch

The children of the congregation collect pocket change from members to support a daily lunch program for school children on the island of Haiti.  Thousands of dollars are collected annually by this “noisy offering” on the fourth Sunday of each month.

 

UMCOR

United Methodist committee on Relief serves in areas affected by disasters to improve the livelihood and health of people throughout the world.  Church members can be trained to help in a disaster relief or help locally by bringing awareness and fundraising in their own congregation.
